Getting Spray Foam Out of St Andrews Roofs
The streets around St Andrews Park, between Montpelier and Ashley Down, are lined with tall Victorian terraces and semis, many now split into flats. These are bigger houses than much of the surrounding area, with larger roofs and, often, rooms in the roof.
If spray foam has come up in your St Andrews home, we can confirm what’s there and quote for removal, with photos for your buyer or lender.
The Houses of St Andrews
Houses around the park are typically three storeys with steep slate roofs, sometimes with front gables or bay roofs. Lofts are larger than in a standard terrace.
Many have been converted into flats, with the top flat owning or sharing the roof space. Rooms in the roof are common, and foam may sit behind sloping ceilings.
Single-family houses here often have large converted lofts with dormers to the rear.

These are ballpark figures for Bristol roofs, not quotes. We fix the price once we’ve seen the foam, either on a visit or from good photos. Read how we price a job.
When a Sale or Mortgage Is Involved
Top-floor flat sales are a common trigger here, as in other central areas. If the roof is shared, the freeholder and other owners may need to agree before removal, so start early and ask the buyer’s lender what they need.
Taking the foam out puts the roof back on view, but the lender or buyer still makes their own decision. Our mortgage page explains more.
